Atlanta, GA – Today, the House is expected to vote on the America COMPETES Act, more appropriately titled the America CONCEDES Act. In response, Tea Party Patriots Action (TPPA) Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“The America CONCEDES Act is the latest disastrous Democrat proposal that will weaken our economy and hurt our national security.  This legislation will authorize $350 billion at a time when inflation is already out of control. It urges America to abide by the crippling Paris Climate Agreement, it makes our visa program with China less secure, and it provides more opportunities for China to steal our intellectual property, among many other flaws. The House should reject the America CONCEDES Act and urge the President to advance a stronger, America-First foreign policy.”
