Atlanta, GA – Today, the Senate passed President Trump’s One Big, Beautiful Bill Act. In response, Tea Party Patriots Action Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“The Senate has done its job, and we are now one step closer to preventing the biggest tax increase in American history. This bill extends the Trump tax cuts of 2017, which led to the greatest economic boom in U.S. history. Further, the bill eliminates taxes on tips and overtime, and makes other positive changes to the tax code.

“This bill also features much-needed funding for border security, construction of the border wall, and other ‘America First’ priorities.

“The Democrats who voted against the ‘One Big, Beautiful Bill’ voted for a recession, because if we had a massive tax increase, as they want, it would send our economy into a tailspin.”
