Tea Party Patriots Action Applauds Georgia Legal Ruling on Trump-Fani Willis Case, Urges Further Action

September 16, 2025
Atlanta, GA – Today, the Georgia Supreme Court denied Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ appeal to resume prosecuting President Trump and others for wildly inappropriate charges related to alleged election interreference in Georgia in the aftermath of the 2020 election. This means the state attorney would have to take the case if it were to continue. In response, Tea Party Patriots Action Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:
“This is a very big win for President Trump and the Georgians who were wrongly and maliciously prosecuted by Fani Willis, who abused her office and lied about it under oath. The President and the others she prosecuted are not guilty of ‘election interference.’ Indeed, Willis herself engaged in election interference by trying to put the leader of the Republican Party behind bars during the 2024 campaign on phony charges.
“The Prosecuting Attorney Council should move to dismiss Willis’ case against the President and his allies, and end this nightmare once and for all. And the defendants’ legal fees and costs should be reimbursed.
“Furthermore, Willis should be investigated to determine if she may have committed crimes in her witch hunt against President Trump and his allies. If she did, she must be held accountable for such actions.”
