Murkowski's SAVE America Act No & the Socialists Coming for the Senate | Rod Martin & Robert McNeily
Senator Lisa Murkowski says she agrees that only American citizens should vote, then wrote a Wall Street Journal op-ed explaining her no on the SAVE America Act. Jenny Beth Martin opens this episode of The Jenny Beth Show by answering the senator point by point, and reveals the fact Murkowski leaves out: Alaska already pays its residents a yearly Permanent Fund Dividend that requires proof of citizenship once, by mail, through a system that reaches every remote village. Alaska's own election website even warns that a voter identification card does not prove citizenship and asks noncitizens who got registered to cancel. Jenny Beth proposes three amendments to turn Murkowski's no into a yes, then heads to Washington to fight for the bill in person.
