Two self-described socialists are now major-party nominees for the United States Senate, and the organization behind them says in writing that it wants the Senate abolished. Jenny Beth Martin spends most of this hour on big-government socialism with two men who have actually been on a ballot, and it starts where the money is: ten billion dollars to administer the SAVE America Act, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, sitting inside the reconciliation blueprint the House passed in July, with the Senate not even back in Washington until September 14. Dwayne Moore taught sixth and ninth grade English before running as a Republican for the New York State Assembly in Queens in 2024 against a sitting incumbent, taking 15 percent of the vote in a district that is 4 percent registered Republican. He is a county committee member and a regular on Newsmax. Robert McNeily is Director of Broadcasting and Grassroots Engagement at Tea Party Patriots Action and a 2024 candidate for the Georgia House who ran across Fulton and DeKalb Counties. The hour goes from Arizona's two-ballot workaround to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez re-upping her Democratic Socialists of America dues, to Abdul El-Sayed's apology in Lansing, to a national co-chair defending Fidel Castro on CNN to an anchor whose grandfather was jailed by Castro for twenty years.
