Tea Party Patriots Praise President Trump For Keeping His Promises When Nominating Judges to Federal Judiciary
Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots President and Co-Founder Jenny Beth Martin released the following statement today, reacting to President Trump keeping his promise to nominate judges to the federal judiciary who interpret the Constitution and our laws by their original meaning.
“We are thrilled that President Trump has continued to deliver on his promise to nominate judges to the federal judiciary who interpret the Constitution and our laws by their original meaning. Building on his terrific appointment of Justice Neil Gorsuch, President Trump released a new list of 10 judges nominated to lower federal courts today who promise to follow the Constitution and the law as it is written rather than write decisions that reflect their own political agenda. The list also calls on a variety of nominees with varying backgrounds, including some members of state Supreme Courts. We applaud President Trump for keeping his promise to appoint judges who will follow the Constitution and our laws and hope the U.S. Senate will move to swiftly confirm these distinguished jurists.”
