The Bill is up for renewal right now and if he gets it through and Heath crap through we are all had! Nicholas Why can't people see the wisdom of our founders? They had it so right. Over time, we've done exactly what they did not want us to do. And, it seems to be that these changes should have been caught by someone as being unconstitutional. We're heading for disaster if we continue to let this Federal monster continue to grow and thrive. Nicholas Our govnerment could work if it were returned to the original design. Why can't anything get passed in congress? Because the issues being voted for, are not federal issues. They should be voted for and enacted into either state or local laws. For those of liberal thinking for example, I'm perfectly fine with those liberals living in a liberal state or county. They can tax themselves at 75%, invite illegal aliens to live with them and pay for their health care, marry a baboon if they want to.

Nicholas We don't see how change can be accomplished that involve either of the two existing parties in a reasonable amount of time. There are too many grass roots groups who might split the votes. Even individuals within the groups...as loyal as you think their vote might be. All these groups need a party to vote for that is a better choice than the other two, not just choosing an occasional candidate, whether dem, repub, or independant. There's no power in that. There's not organization in that method

Nicholas Regarding 6, we would like new legislature that calls for mandatory dismissal of any elected official who breaks the law such as those many who don't feel they need to pay their taxes like the rest of us. They should be fired and never allowed to occupy a government position again....ever. Taxes were just an example. Those who take bribes should be thrown in jail for some mandatory period and again barred from office. We have to clean the scum from Washington.

Nicholas I suppose we can vote for independents, but if you're going to do that, why not a third party that has a clear, stated, simple message and platform? What we could like to see are a party that stands making these things happen: 1) get term limits passed, 2) campaign finance reform, 3) reversion back to small federal government and empowered state governments, 4) enforcement of the constitution, 5) fiscal responsibility, 6) government integrity and honesty. Nicholas I had my neighbor over for a beer last night and we talked about HOW to get real change to happen. After all, republicans and democrats are not going to vote for government changing events like term limits. It will never, ever happen....ever. So, we seemed to come to the same conclusion that there must ultimately be a third party. Seems I'm going to have to submit multiple comments as there is a limit to the number of characters I can type. To be continued...
