Looking for a group that will help unseat Congressman Sanford Bishop, Democrat (calls himself a “blue dog Dem,” but he rubber stamps anything Nancy and O’Buzzard want. I have just joined the party. I also believe it is time to take back our country. We can not stand idly by any longer. We have failed to act far too often which has always proved to be a mistake throught history. Have we learned nothing??? Action is long over due!

Hi Steve,
These are fine goals, but the real challenge in any collective endeavor is coordination and mobilization. Tea Party members have a distinctive flair for being independent and decentralized, but now that the initial fervor of 2009/2010 has faded, any successful attempt to effect political outcomes will require more organization and…[Read more]

What do we do now? As a group we might work towards:
A.Same day national primaries; no crossover voting in primaries;
B. No same day registration/voting; voter ID nationally; limits on early voting;
C. Email campaign to get our elected officials both locally and nationally to pass legislation for the above.What say you?

This was before the national tea party was established. When the national organization sent emails to all state members announcing that it had formed I joined. I look forward to…[Read more]
