Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today released the following statement announcing the endorsement of Michael Whatley to represent North Carolina in the United States Senate:

“North Carolina needs a strong voice for its people in the United States Senate. Michael Whatley will be that voice.

“Michael is an America First conservative – tough on border security, traditional values, and economic freedom. He will fight to cut taxes, rein in out-of-control government spending, and get a handle on our $40 trillion national debt.

“He worked closely with President Trump and will continue to work closely with the President after he is elected to strengthen border security and support our police.

“His opponent, Roy Cooper, is far too liberal. His tenure as governor showed his failure at providing for the first priority of any government – protecting its citizens. His 2021 civil rights settlement resulted in the early release of more than 3,500 prison inmates during COVID-19, putting the entire state at risk.    “On behalf of Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, I am pleased to endorse Michael Whatley for the U.S. Senate from North Carolina, and I urge every North Carolina voter to make a plan to vote for Michael Whatley in the November 3 general election.”
