Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today released the following statement announcing the endorsement of Russ Fulcher to represent Idaho’s 1^st congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives:

“Russ Fulcher is a committed conservative working to shrink the federal government, lower the tax burden, and reduce our national debt. And when I say he’s working to shrink the federal government, I really mean it – he’s worked since he came to Washington to transfer greater control of federally managed lands to local and state authorities.

“He is a strong advocate for stronger border security and tougher enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws. He is also working to make government more accessible and understandable to his constituents.

“Russ is a strong supporter of the SAVE America Act, which requires states to obtain documentary proof of citizenship before registering a new voter. He joined House colleagues in penning a letter urging Senate leadership to take up and pass the legislation immediately. Our grassroots activists and supporters especially appreciate his efforts to enhance election integrity.
