Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Endorses MIKE JOHNSON for Congress

Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today released the following statement announcing the endorsement of Mike Johnson to represent Louisiana’s 4th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives:
“Mike Johnson is the America First patriot Louisiana’s 4th district needs fighting on its behalf in the House of Representatives. Since coming to Washington following the 2016 election, Mike has worked as the committed conservative he is – fighting to cut taxes, get federal spending under control, and rein in the nation’s $40 trillion debt.
“As a former attorney for the Alliance Defending Freedom, Mike knew what the stakes were before he took the oath of office as a Member of Congress. He knew that becoming a member of the House of Representatives meant working to uphold our constitutional freedoms, and he has done yeoman’s work on that front.
“He has been a committed advocate for strong and secure borders and has worked hard to fund construction of the border wall. He has worked to fully fund Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
“Mike is a relentless supporter of the SAVE America Act, which requires states to obtain documentary proof of citizenship before registering a new voter. His leadership has shepherded the bill through the House multiple times, and he has worked closely with President Trump to push the bill to final passage through the Senate. Our grassroots activists and supporters especially appreciate his efforts to enhance election integrity.
