Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today released the following statement announcing the endorsement of Jim Jordan to represent Ohio’s 4^th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives:

“Jim Jordan is an America First warrior and a Tea Party patriot. He’s fought for personal freedom, economic freedom, and a debt-free future since he first arrived in Congress. He helped establish and served as the first chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, and our activists and supporters appreciate his leadership in advancing our shared values.

“Jim has fought to reduce taxes and control Washington’s wasteful spending. He’s fought to fund a more secure border, including construction of a border wall, and he’s fought to toughen enforcement of our immigration laws.

“As Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, he’s worked to protect our Constitutional freedoms against the wrongful actions of federal bureaucracies and the bureaucrats who work in them, including the IRS.

“He’s a strong supporter of the SAVE America Act, which requires states to obtain documentary proof of citizenship before registering a new voter. He has pushed to include elements of the SAVE America Act in a reconciliation bill as a means to get it through the Senate, and he believes the House should have stayed in Washington longer to hold additional votes on the SAVE America Act to pressure Democrats.
