This film features survivors of socialism who share their personal stories and their poignant warnings for the United States. The film also features young Americans – Candace Owens, Scott Presler, Morgan Zegers, and Maggie VandenBerghe – who inspire us to fight against the socialist tide. Tea Party Patriots Action Urges House to Pass Gas Stove Protection and Freedom Act
Atlanta, GA – Today, the US House is expected to vote on the Gas Stove Protection and Freedom Act. This bill prevents the Consumer Product Safety Commission from regulating gas stoves as a banned federal product or issuing a product safety standard that makes gas stoves substantially more expensive. In response, Tea Party Patriots Action (TPPA) Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement: “There is no question the Biden administration wants to ban gas stoves, so Congress needs to step in before it’s too late. We urge every member of Congress to take action now to save our stoves from the Biden administration’s radical ‘green agenda,’ which is making daily life more expensive and more inconvenient for hard-working Americans. With inflation already out of control because of the administration’s reckless spending and anti-growth policies, Team Biden should be embarrassed to propose new gas stove regulations. “Shortly after Consumer Product Safety Commissioner Trumka proposed a gas stove ban, Tea Party Patriots Action launched a ‘Call to Action’ urging our members and supporters to leave comments opposing new regulations. We helped generate 4,448 comments opposing new regulations. This represented almost half the comments left for the commission. Tea Party Patriots Action Urges Congress to Reject Debt Ceiling Deal
Atlanta, GA – Over the weekend, President Biden and Speaker McCarthy brokered the Fiscal Responsibility Act to resolve the debt ceiling standoff. In response, Tea Party Patriots Action (TPPA) Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement: “The debt ceiling deal is a rotten deal for Americans, and every Member of Congress should vote against it. President Biden got the better end of the deal and Republicans in Congress should hold the line and vote against it so a better deal can be struck. We were promised $4.8 trillion in spending cuts over a decade. In fact, that’s what House Republicans passed last month. Now, instead, we learn that Speaker McCarthy negotiated adding $4 trillion to the debt over the next 18 months. Our nation is in a perilous situation with the debt. It’s unconscionable that a Republican Speaker is negotiating with President Biden to add to the national debt. “Our message to all Members of Congress is to vote no on the Biden-McCarthy debt deal, and to those who vote for the Biden-McCarthy deal: We will not forget it. November 2024 is just around the corner.”

This legislation will build the border wall, make E-Verify mandatory, and continue the ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy, among other things. Atlanta, GA – This week, the House is expected to vote on Speaker McCarthy’s debt ceiling proposal, the “Limit, Save, Grow Act.” This proposal ties a $1.5 trillion debt ceiling increase to long-term spending cuts. In response, TPPA Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement: "The tea party movement began as a protest to out-of-control government spending, and Tea Party Patriots Action has always called for fiscal responsibility. Today, with inflation out of control because of the Democrats’ record spending, our country needs significant spending cuts now more than ever.“Giving a blank check to a debtor who ran up his or her credit limit would be irresponsible and foolhardy, which is exactly what President Biden and his Democratic cohorts in Congress want. “Speaker McCarthy and House Republicans are looking at what is best for the American people and economy and have presented the Limit, Save, Grow Act as a compromise for the debt ceiling increase.
