“Grassroots activists across the country are thankful to Senator Grassley for his steadfast and principled stand that the American people should have a voice in the selection of the next Supreme Court Justice. President Obama is attempting to bully the Senate into confirming liberal judge Merrick Garland so he can pack the Court with a liberal majority who will undermine our most cherished rights, like the Second Amendment right to bear arms, and unleash unaccountable bureaucrats at federal agencies like the IRS or EPA. Senator Grassley’s willingness to stand with the grassroots in defense of the Constitution is inspiring and we thank him for his commitment in the face of pressure from liberals and the left wing fringe.”
