Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today released the following statement announcing the endorsement of Lily Tang Williams to represent New Hampshire’s 2^nd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives:

“Lily Tang Williams is the kind of America First patriot New Hampshire needs in the U.S. House of Representatives. Hers is a story of grit and gumption, of a desire and a determination to achieve the American Dream.

“Lily grew up in communist China. She knows first-hand what it’s like to have government controlling everything, and, as a result, she values individual liberty more than most. She supports free markets and free peoples, and she shares our Tea Party values of personal freedom, economic freedom, and a debt-free future.

“As a legal immigrant – Lily says she and her brother waited 13 years to enter America legally – she strongly supports enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws. She supports a secure border and supports deportation efforts.

“Lily supports the SAVE America Act, which requires states to obtain documentary proof of citizenship before registering a new voter. And she says she thinks it’s ‘undignified to say minorities can’t get ID.’
