Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today released the following statement announcing the endorsement of Michael Cloud to represent Texas’ 27^th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives:

“Michael Cloud is a proven fighter, the America First warrior Texas’ coastal bend needs and deserves.

“Michael fights for tighter border controls, stopping human trafficking, and addressing cartel activity. He works with outside groups to end illegal immigration and strengthen enforcement of immigration law.

“Michael is a strong advocate for expanding American energy dominance. He works to expand energy exports, particularly through infrastructure at the Port of Corpus Christi, even as he works on larger national issues, like cutting federal spending and reducing the national debt.

“Michael is a strong supporter of the SAVE America Act, which requires states to obtain documentary proof of citizenship before registering a new voter. He pushed for its inclusion in the Budget Resolution for Fiscal Year 2027 as a means to passing it in the Senate. Our grassroots activists and supporters appreciate his efforts on behalf of election integrity.
