Atlanta, GA – Tonight, Matt Van Epps won the special election to represent Tennessee’s Seventh Congressional District. In response, Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“On behalf of our three million members, donors, and supporters, Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund congratulates Matt Van Epps on his victory in Tennessee’s Seventh Congressional District. Van Epps’ victory is significant because the contest pitted his support for the president’s America First agenda against an AOC-Mamdani clone who would have used her position in Congress to spread left-wing chaos nationwide.

“During the remainder of the 119th Congress, important work remains to be done on appropriations, health care, and oversight, among other topics. The people of Tennessee’s Seventh Congressional District will have an outstanding Representative in Matt Van Epps, and we at Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund look forward to working with him to enact President Trump’s America First agenda.”
