On Wednesday and Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a confirmation hearing for Attorney General nominee Todd Blanche. In anticipation, Tea Party Patriots Action Chairman Jenny Beth Martin issued the following statement:

“President Trump’s nominee for Attorney General, Todd Blanche, is extremely qualified for the position and he should be approved expeditiously by the Senate Judiciary Committee and then the full Senate.

“Blanche has the complete trust of the President, he is completely aligned with the President’s core principles, and he has successfully led the Justice Department in an acting capacity for the past three months, after having served successfully as the Deputy Attorney General for the first year of the Administration.

“Tea Party Patriots Action urges every Senator to vote in favor of Blanche’s confirmation.”
