2023 Task Force Update

With your help, Tea Party Patriots Action was successful in beginning to build permanent election integrity infrastructure in 2021 - 2022.

You were one of the many people Tea Party Patriots Action trained or signed up for election integrity in 2022. After training or signing up with Tea Party Patriots Action, you may have gone on to become one of the many poll watchers the RNC placed through local and state parties. In addition, you may have been one of the people Tea Party Patriots Action helped place for poll watching in the Georgia Runoff.

Tea Party Patriots Action could not do this alone, and you were instrumental in helping us achieve these goals. Thank you for helping us achieve these goals. There is more to do on election integrity than what TPPA alone can do. We also worked very closely with several national and state coalition partners, including Conservative Partnership Institute's Election Integrity Network, Voter Reference Foundation, Heritage Action's Save Our Elections Project, American Civil Rights Union's Protect Vulnerable Voters Project, Honest Elections Project, FreedomWorks, Virginia Institute for Public Policy, and many more. We also thank and appreciate the various coalition partners.

Even with those steps toward building election integrity infrastructure, there is still much to do, as the issues in Arizona in 2022 demonstrated.

In our haste to train and deploy as many people as possible, we failed to compile a complete list of those leading county task forces. Additionally, we know some county task force leadership has changed due to political party leadership elections.

Here is why we are asking for this information: We understand that for election integrity to be practical, volunteers need to coordinate with one another locally to streamline efforts and to ensure that everyone in the local county - election integrity volunteers and government election employees - are efficient with their time and have as little duplicative tasks as possible.

At Tea Party Patriots Action, if we know a local leader is heading up the election integrity task force, we will connect those who volunteer with us to the local leader.

Each county may operate differently. Here are some different ways a county may organize election integrity efforts:

  • A stand-alone election integrity group or task force
  • A committee or subcommittee of the local political party handles election integrity efforts
  • The local political party without a designated subcommittee
  • Several groups working on election integrity occasionally coalesce their actions, but no formal tasks force or committee

Whichever the case may be, we want to ensure we are not stepping on toes locally and are doing what we can to help connect those interested in election integrity. If no election integrity task force exists, we will have training for those willing to start one.

Again, please help us by filling out this form to let us know what is happening at your local level.
