Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Endorses CLAY HIGGINS for Congress
October 23, 2026
Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today released the following statement announcing the endorsement of Clay Higgins to represent Louisiana’s 3rd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives:
“Since coming to Washington with President Trump following the 2016 election, Clay Higgins has been a strong voice for the Tea Party values we share – personal freedom, economic freedom, and a debt-free future. He has been a strong supporter of the America First agenda, and our activists and supporters appreciate that.
“Before he came to the House, Clay served in the U.S. Army, the Louisiana Army National Guard, and as a local law enforcement officer and deputy marshal in St. Landry and Lafayette parishes. To no one’s surprise, he is particularly strong on law enforcement issues: he chairs the House Oversight Committee’s Subcommittee on Federal Law Enforcement, and is committed to working to secure our southern border and end illegal immigration.
“Clay Higgins is the lead cosponsor of the SAVE America Act, which requires states to obtain documentary proof of citizenship before registering a new voter. And he doesn’t think his job is done because he voted for the bill; he’s been tireless in devising and pushing various strategies to push the bill to the floor of the Senate. Our activists and supporters appreciate his efforts on behalf of that bill, and of election integrity in general.
“On behalf of Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, I am pleased to endorse Clay Higgins for the U.S. House from Louisiana’s 3rd congressional district, and I urge every voter in Louisiana’s 3rd congressional district to make a plan to vote for Clay Higgins in the November 3 general election.”
Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund is committed to equipping grassroots activists at the state and local level with the tools and resources needed to hold elected officials and government accountable and elect new and qualified candidates.
