Show Up to Meet Your Members of Congress

Members of Congress have one basic job – representing us in Washington. The absolute best way they can do their job is if we do our job of showing up and making our voices heard. Every Member of Congress, whether a Republican or a Democrat, needs to hear from us!

For the next several weeks, we are engaging is a nationwide effort to show up, be heard, and make a difference. Local town hall meetings, mobile office hours, and “meet and greet” type coffee hours with Members of Congress are some of the most effective ways to engage with your representatives in Washington, D.C.

Maybe you would like to talk to your senator about the pressing need to confirm Neil M. Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. Or, perhaps you would like to talk to your congressman about ObamaCare repeal. No matter what the issue is, the best way for your two senators and congressman to know what is on our minds is for us to show up and engage in a meaningful conversation. Real reform and true accountability for Washington will both start at the local level when Members of Congress see us showing up in large numbers at these forums and asking the tough questions, holding them accountable, and encouraging them to do the right thing.

If there is not an event listed locally in your area, sign up to host a rally, demonstration, house party event, flag waving event, or other event. We have the tools to help you get started and organized.

We are making it easy for you to show up. Above is a map with events all across the country that Members of Congress are hosting for their constituents. See an event in your area? Make a plan to show up. Really, it’s that simple.
