Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today released the following statement announcing the endorsement of Diana Harshbarger to represent Tennessee’s 1^st congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives:

“Diana Harshbarger is a conservative champion who’s been endorsed by President Trump for her strong support of the America First agenda. She is a tireless advocate for strong borders and secure elections, and defends the Second Amendment with gusto. She works to reduce taxes and cut spending, and to begin paying down our national debt.

“The first person in her family to graduate from high school, she didn’t stop there – she went on to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy from Mercer University. That drive to excel serves her well, she won a 17-way primary for the seat, and it serves her constituents well as she fights the Washington Swamp.

“She’s a cosponsor of the SAVE America Act, which requires states to obtain documentary proof of citizenship before registering a new voter. She joined House Freedom Caucus efforts to urge the Senate GOP leadership to bring the bill to the Senate floor.
