This individual is no friend to the Tea Party. I am from CT originally and was living there when he was the Attorney General of CT. In CT it is a custom to have flags fly over the capital building that honer different events or groups. Like having the flag of a branch of the military on its birthday. Well we attempted to fly the Gadsden flag to honer its the Marine Corps history. The state capitol police would not allow it. We called Mr. Blumenthal (D) from his office at the capital in Hartford. He is a Democrat and would not intervene to help us in any way. You see to the Democrat elected officials of CT the Gadsden Flag is also associated with Us, the Tea Party, so they could not have that flag fly over the CT capital. This I know because I was there and I was one of the few who got to speak to Mr. Blumenthal (D) on the phone that day. I wrote a statement that my son is a Marine I am a Vietnam Veteran and those that were with me that day also did the same, attesting that they were veterans or had children in the Marine Corps or military. It did not do us any good the flag was not flown. This was on April 8th 2010. If you do not believe me go Google it it’s there, I just did.
