We are sick of big government and the left wing running this country. It is time for people to get involved and take back this country. Putting people in office with good conservative views is what will get our country back on track.

OUR CORE VALUES -- WHAT WE STAND FOR: Limited Government – As our Founding Fathers recognized, restraint of government is necessary to protect the liberties of the people. Fiscal Responsibility – Government at all levels must learn to live within its means. To saddle future generations with the crushing burden of our excess spending is unconscionable. States' Rights – The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respective, or to the People. National Sovereignty – We must maintain a strong national defense, effective security for our borders, and sole control over our land and our laws. Personal Responsibility – Liberty is unsustainable without responsibility. Each citizen must take responsibility for the consequences of his or her own actions while respecting the rights and dignity of others. The Rule of Law – Consistent, independent and uniform application of the law is critical to a free and prosperous society. Don’t weaken our position by stretching the truth. It's always the small towns and communities that go underserved and that is why I am starting this group. This group is for the communities with less than 10,000 population in Northeastern Oklahoma. Muskogee north to Kansas border, east and south of Tulsa to the Missouri and Arkansas borders. To help educate the people of this town and motivate them to vote and donate their time to getting a good candidate elected to office.

We are a diverse group. Our theme song is, "We're Not Gonna Take It" (By Twisted Sister). We are sick and tired of not having our voices heard by our politicians. We believe that our representatives should represent! We believe it is time to remind our government they work for us!

I have done nothing. And for that I am ashamed. Every American, regardless of their background, has the right to live free of unwarranted government intrusion.

Hi Everyone! The purpose of this group is to bring like minded people together to discuss ideas on what we can do to help gain our country back. If you believe in the 9 principles and 12 values as promoted by Glenn Beck, and you believe that our country needs to get back to our constitution as our founding fathers intended it to be, then we would love to have you join our group. The 9 principles are: 1. America is good 2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life. 3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday. 4.The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government. 5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it. 6. I have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results. 7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable. 8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion. and 9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me. The 12 values are: 1. Honesty 2. Reverence 3. Hope 4. Thrift 5. Humility 6. Charity 7. Sincerity 8. Moderation 9. Hard work 10. Courage 11. Personal Responsibility 12. Gratitude Living where we do in the panhandle, it's difficult for many of us to attend tea parties in larger cities given the distance we would have to drive. So I thought perhaps we could have our own tea parties and make sure that the media covers us. Also I believe that we need to be active in writing or phoning our congressmen and senators anytime a bill comes up that we know would be detrimental to the growth and prosperity of our country, as well as anything that would take more of our freedoms away. Our president has far reached his power hungry hands into the private sector and it's time we put a stop to it. Please tell all of your friends about our group and urge them to join with us. The more people we can get the better. More People = More Power! God bless you all and God bless our great country.

The Great Plains Patriots is a group dedicated to Reclaiming America Through Positive Action!! Like the Conservative Right, the Great Plains Patriots are a heterogeneous mixture of individuals from vastly different backgrounds, representing different ethnic, social, and racial heritages, and running the length of the economic as well as demographic spectrum. However, what unites us together is a common and shared interest in the preservation of very clear, tried and tested historical principles that have guided the American nation for some 200 years. Through the turbulent waters of cresting economic volatility to failed political experiments; in the face of social upheaval and the looming, persistent, and belligerent threat from those antipathetic to the American way of life, this country yet stands as a beacon of hope, however imperfect, to those who would seek not just a better life, but a dignified one.

We meet once a month,we run about 60-100 strong every month. We are for Fiscal Responsibility,Limited Government and Free Market.

Well, were no military force. What we are is a group of ordinary, hard working, hunting, fishing, law abiding, good natured, and family oriented people. We love gasoline, bbq's, and red meat, hate CFL's, and negative talk about the 2nd Amendment is fightin words. We walk proud and talk loud, America is Great! Where are we from? Hank Jr. said it best, "we're from north california to south alabam, and little towns all around this land." We are the greatest country the world has known! We have done more good for the world than any nation in the history of the planet. We should not be trying to take a step back and emulate lesser socialist countries! We are leaders, lets lead. We believe in Common Sense and "may the best man win". We will give you a hand up but don't expect a handout. The government is wastful and inneficient, it is best kept out of our lives. We are sick and tired of over reaching, lying, be-littling, life long politicians. Term Limits are necessary. Also, before you vote on a bill would you do us a small courtesy? READ IT!! Having an IVY league degree does not make you intelligent. Making the right choices does. I'm confused is it Global Warming, Climate Change, Global Cooling?? Nobody knows for sure, but they know that whatever we are doing is bad...and your punishment will be a big serving of TAX...LOL. Did we mention we love our 2nd Amendment rights! Guns don't kill people, people do. Can you please make a more effective law to outlaw them? Our 2nd Amendment right is crucial, for without it there would be no other rights. Our rights "Shall not be infringed." PERIOD. We love immigration, LEGAL. Until you are legal you get no Constitutional Rights or public assistance period! Also, if anyone violates your civil rights they get to lose theirs. The ACLU needs an overhaul. Abortion should not be a form of birth control! Planned Parenthood you need an overhaul too. Prolonged welfare doesn't rescue, it steals dignity and forces dependency. My family is sacred, I am the leader, authority, and caregiver. Not the government. Converse with those who disagree. Even if they do not agree, a seed of doubt within them may take root. Accountability is essential to liberty and freedom, we are responsible for our actions, our glory and failures are our own. We are tired of the "It's not our fault" mentality. Take ownership, be accountable! The victim mentality is for losers, feeling sorry for yourself will get you nowhere. Oil, big business, pharmaceutical, and profits are not villains. The people trying to villianize these things ARE! The current administration needs to drop the scare tactics, I understand this is a way to get your legislation pushed through. It is wrong and unethical though. Keep raising our taxes and you will be wishing we were still having Tea Parties! You and I have the right to keep whatever we earn, this is not selfish. Selfish is the person doing nothing to collect it. Laws are not meant to be empathetic, laws are meant to be blind. Pedofiles can not be rehabilitated, they can be hung though. There isn't much worse than an "actor/activist". This is where the saying "A little bit of knowledge is dangerous" comes from. If hollywood wants socialism, fine. Let's take all of their earnings and give it to people who really deserve it. OUR TROOPS! For their is no one more deserving. We are all equal. No government program or special interest group will make it happen. We all have the opportunity to wealth and happiness. For some the path to wealth and happiness will be more difficult than others, this is just how life works - don't give up. This country was founded on Christianity, leave it alone. If you don't like our opinions that's fine, trying to shove your opinions on to us is NOT fine. If in some way you are offended by the sight of Baby Jesus in a Manger, well I'm sorry, actually I'm not, if that offends you that's just funny...get some thicker skin..LOL
