Spreading the word!

Today I was speaking with a friend in my area, we got on the topic of voting, I asked if she was voting and she stated she was not sure but if she did she would most likely vote for Obama, of course I asked why and she really did not have a reason other than the same hopes and dreams that Obama promised in 2008. I asked her how she felt about the she felt he had brought during his first four year term and if she felt he deserved another term. Her reply was that No the economy has not gotten any better and that no she did not feel that the change had happened yet but felt the change would come. I went over with her the promises he has made that has not happened and I went over with her the steps he has taken to hide the 9/11/2012 Terrorist Attack from the American people and cover it up with some video as well as his many vacations that the American tax payer was paying for while ”We The People” can not take vacations and if she felt all of this was okay. She was so blown away by the facts I laid out for her, in the end her reply was that she does not have cable and can not afford tv so she was not aware of these current election issues and current events. Now I asked her, does it bother you that the economy is so bad that you can not afford to even have a news station to keep you informed of current events, does it bother you that you have no idea what has gone in the world in the last four years because a President was elected through empty promises of hope and change that never happened. Further more does it concern you that your vote may of had put him back in office and do you feel you will vote for him again knowing what I just showed you and that this is all facts? Her answer was, yes if I had known all this I would of known not to vote again!! Well TPP I turned one vote around, to GOP Romney.
Learning what I learned today, I have realized that we have so many voters that will be going to the polls, the voters who are barely making it by and are making uneducated votes!! How do we reach out to so many that do not have cable TV or news to make them aware!! Word of mouth in such few days is going to be so difficult. I am going to be recording this last debate on TiVo and keeping the second debate, I am going to find out how many people I know that do not have cable and invite them offer to watch the debate tomorrow night and see how many heads turn!! I just hope that this is all worth it and it makes a difference. Uneducated votes will hold us down in the polls!!
