Maryland and Virginia (suburbs of Washington,DC) are using your tax dollars to build private highways for the rich and elite. They don’t have to sit in traffic like the rest of us do. The Intercounty Connector is a private toll road built with money from all the taxpayers. In Virginia, they are building a section of the beltway parallel to the existing road. This will also be by permit only.
Like the Washington subway free passes will go to special people who have the right job. or those who make millions off of the rest of us, so that a ten dollar fee is an insignificant fee; and simply gives them another tax write off.
