Is Barack Obama a Sociopath? Psychologists will tell you that a sociopath (a word that came into prominence during the Casey Anthony trial) “is typically defined as someone who lies incessantly to get their way and does so with little concern for others. A sociopath is often goal-oriented (i.e., lying is focused – it is done to get one’s way). Sociopaths have little regard or respect for the rights and feelings of others. Sociopaths are often charming and charismatic, but they use their talented social skills in manipulative and self-centered ways” (Truthaboutdeception.com).

These individuals see no wrong in their lies and basically have an “ends justifies the means” attitude. Barack Obama, our Liar in Chief, uses his lies and deceptive tactics to win. Winning for him is something he must do at all costs and among those is lying to and directly deceiving the American people. What makes this a difficult situation for America is that so many of Obama’s followers are complicit in his lies. In addition to being aided and abetted by his devout followers, most of the media is complicit and does not call him out on his lies, but rather accepts them as fact which is exactly what Obama wants.

Most sociopaths have a very charming personality. In fact most are personally very likeable. They never recognize the rights of others and see their efforts as self-serving. Think of your own mental picture of a con man or con artist. Over time individuals like Obama do not even recognize that they are lying and repeat the same lies and half truths over and over to the point where they solidly believe in them. Think about the following:

I will cut the deficit in half by the end of my first term.

I will not raise taxes on those making less than $250,000 a year.

If you like your health insurance you can keep it.

The Health Care Act will cut the deficit and bend the cost curve down.

(Or the not too coveted lie of the year) that Paul Ryan’s budget will end Medicare as we know it.

We must stop the subsidies to the Big Oil Companies. (oil companies do not get “subsidies”).

Solyndra was not funded under my watch. That Program was the responsibility of the previous administration. (how many lies are framed in a ”blame Bush” format?)

Because of me oil production has gone up over the past three years.

I believe marriage is between one man and one woman.

My Green Energy Program will create over 5 million jobs.

Pass my Stimulus and unemployment will not go over 8%.

Have you ever used any name other than Barack Hussein Obama?

The sad part is that this list is just the “tip of the iceberg. Most of you reading this could add many more of your own. Even sadder is that during the upcoming campaign the lying and half-truths are only going to get worse. The lies will not only be generalizations but will become highly personal as they become directed directly at Mitt Romney. The water is already being tested.

Would Romney have gone after Bin Laden if he had been president?

Romney was a “gay basher and bully” when he was in high school (therefore he must still be now).

These are but a beginning and now is time to call Obama out for what he is. Is it politically incorrect to call a politician a liar? Is it unbecoming and disrespectful of the Office to call the President a liar? I guess that depends upon who that President is. Looking back at the Nixon administration lies were a cause for impeachment. In those days lying was a mortal sin in the eyes of the media. What conclusion does the media draw today when they are confronted by lies on an almost daily basis. Lies and half-truths permeate every stump speech Obama gives yet the only place you see reprehension is in the eyes of us “radical right-wing extremists.” You know, those that “cling to their guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them.”

The American people are waking up, but a majority won’t wake up to the lies and half-truths unless they are constantly pointed out to the people in general. The same “people in general” for whom Obama has such disdain. Those that must be led by the nose because they are incapable of thinking for themselves.

During the Cold War and WWII we called the lies propaganda. We Americans were infuriated by the lies reported by the Communist press. The word Pravda became synonymous with the word lie. Why should this be less true now? We the people should be infuriated by the lies and half-truths of this President to the same degree as we would be if they were perpetrated by a friend, business associate, or family member. Liars do not have integrity and cannot be trusted and the President of the United States should be held to this same standard. dictators lie constantly but we do not live in a Dictatorship, we live in a Republic.

It is time to stop being nice and to play “hardball” just like the Obama minions. This time with the truth. It is time to confront every lie and every half-truth every time President Obama purveys them.

It is time for we the people to reject the lies. Time to begin shouting at the top of our voices “liar, liar pants on fire”. It is time for Americans to realize we are dealing with a sociopath and that four more years means four more years of lies and half-truths and the lack of trust and decepton they deliver. It is time to confront the biggest lie of all; ”Hope and Change We can Believe in”.
