At a recent meeting of an Obama For America (OFA) re-election campaign strategy session two Obama campaign staffers, Ishmael and Mustafa , talked about the upcoming London Olympics.

Ishmael said to Mustafa, “Wow we are only about three months away from the Olympics.”

Mustafa replied, “Yeah another great injustice about to unfold. I just can’t believe we are still stuck in the archaic mentality of gold, silver, and bronze medals.”

Mustafa agreed, “You are so right, this is another example of the unfairness that exists in our Capitalistic world today! Just think about it. Here we are working hard everyday to restore fairness to the American way of life and we have the United States Olympic Committee in full support of one of the most unfair events in the entire world. I’ll tell you what, the American people are fed up with the unfairness that exists in the world today. Once Obama is re-elected he will give us a platform to make the Olympics more fair and remove the Capitalist overtones from this worldwide event all together.”

“Exactly”, said Ishmael. ”No more silver and bronze medals! That is so totally unfair! We need to see that everybody gets a Gold medal. It is so totally unjust and unfair that only one person in each even gets a gold medal. This Capitalist injustice has to stop. This is particularly true for the participants that don’t even get a medal. They deserve fair and equal treatment too.

“You are so right Ishmael”, agreed Mustafa. “We have to make the Olympics like my daughter’s soccer league. They don’t keep score anymore. There are no losers, only winners! The kids are so much happier. being liberated from all the pressure. My daughter has a room full of gold medals, I am so proud of her. The Olympics should be the same.”

“Just imagine the peace and harmony this will bring to the people of the world when we change the Olympics. No more keeping score by individuals and especially by countries. Everyone will be equal, and the closing ceremony will unite all of the athletes in brotherhood because they can all march hand-in-hand with their gold medals” agreed Ishmael.

“Don’t forget the most important thing”, said Mustafa. “All of the countries will be equal too. That is the fairest thing of all!”

“Wow! What a lot of work we have to do“, Said Ishmael, “One more thing to add to the Obama agenda in the next four years. But, what a goal! Not only can we bring fairness to America, but we can exert our influence to bring it to the world! You know what Mustafa, this just underscores the importance of our job of bringing fairness to America. If we keep it up there will no longer be a 99% and a 1%, we’ll all be 100%!”
