Here is Ron Paul’s resignation speech from Congress. He chose to run for POTUS instead of his seat in Congress, and hence, he lost both.

He’s old, it’s okay, but it’s a really good speech. You can play it in the background and do other things on the computer while it plays out. You won’t see him run in 2016.
