I’d like to know if anyone else is as concerned as I am about Representative Chris Smith. I believe that this year is probably the most critical since the inception of our great country. While Smith is overall a good man, I am very much concerend with his priorities. During last year’s ”crisis” over the federal budget and the threatened imminent shutdown of the government, Chris Smith was chairing a meeting on Human Rights violations in the Ivory Coast. Last I recall, he was elected to represent Americans in his congressional district.

Looking at his website, there are 55 laws/resolutions listed under his accomplishments. Just under one-third of those deal with Americans in America – the rest are all resolutions or laws affecting foreigners or providing our tax dollars to foreigners. He was recently hosting yet another human rights conference with testimony from a Cuban political prisoner. While there is some merit to these pursuits, I do not believe it is the responsibility of a Congressman to be involved – this is taking time and energy away from dealing with our real problems like the traitorous and treasonous administration and a whole host of other issues related to the very survival of our nation.

Smith also buys in to the much debunked and disproven theory of ”anthropogenic global warming”, further saddling Americans with higher energy costs and wasted monies in government intervention in our lives and the free market.

Does anybody else have the same or similar concerns abotu Rep. Smith? How do we change his focus or get rid of him and put in a real Constitutionalist?
