1) Endeavors to reconcile right-wing and left-wing politics by merging capitalist and socialist economics; 2) Rejects both laissez-faire and socialist approaches to economic governance in favor of a mixed planned and controlled economy; 3) Stresses technological development, education, and competitive mechanisms to pursue economic ends set forth by the Democratic Leadership Council; 4) Aims to protect the modern welfare state and maintain its economic integrity through taxation of higher income persons and business enterprises; 5) Favors reducing substantially private economic freedom, Centralized economic planning to optimize the fiscal output of privately owned to serve as tax revenue base to support social programs, such as social welfare, environmentalism, and may call for the state ownership or control of some of the means of production; 6) Requires a strong, activist central government; 7) Aims for equalitarian outcome from economic, societal, and educational efforts; Advocates strong unions with check-offs in open shops or closed shops; 9) Holds that property rights and ownership are temporary and subject to the needs of the common good; 10) Calls for a ‘paradigm shift’ in the governance system built about a strong central government; 11) Seeks a permanent shift to Transnationalism to empower, harness, and strengthen the ‘social capital’ of communities at the grassroots worldwide; 12) Promotes central banks with complete control over money supplies, fiat money, and fractional banking; a national medical system, easy access to abortion on demand; 13) Favors the subornation of military efforts to social welfare; 14) Considers the Constitution as a “living” document to be interpreted according to “current needs”; 15) Favors a broad judicial interpretation of the Constitution and judicial activism; 16) Favors elimination of private ownership of arms or a very strong limitation; 17) Pushes a strong separation of church and state; 18) Wants a loose interpretation of the right to free speech; 19) Opposes traditional family values as defined by Classical Liberals.
