What form of government does the US have?

The United States government is a Republic, or more specifically, a federal constitutional republic.

Answer

The following is what the founding fathers wrote in the US Constitution and believed:

Article IV Section 4

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

Thomas Jefferson said, ”A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”
Thomas Jefferson, March 11, 1790: ”The republican is the only form of government which is not eternally at open or secret war with the rights of mankind.”

Alexander Hamilton, in debate, said: ”Real liberty is neither found in despotism or the extremes of democracy, but in moderate government.”

Alexander Hamilton, in Senate: ”It has been observed that a pure democracy, if it were practicable, would be the most perfect government. Experience has proved that no position is more false than this. The ancient democracies, in which the people themselves deliberated, never possessed one feature of good government. Their very character was tyranny: their figure deformity.”

John Adams, in a letter to John Taylor, wrote: ”Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”

James Madison said: ”…democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security, or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”

Answer

Reduced to its essence the United States is a federal republic, a federation of states with a republican form of government, i.e., a representative democracy, where the citizens elect their representatives for fixed terms of office.

The Constitution of the United States, Article IV, § 4 provides: ”The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government….” The requirement that the Constitution contain a provision guaranteeing a republican form of government seems to have been driven by Madison. Thus, it is appropriate to turn to his definition of a republican form of government in The Federalist Papers, no. 39, 250–53 (January 16, 1788). There, he writes that ”we may define a republic to be, or at least may bestow that name on, a government which derives all its powers directly or indirectly from the great body of the people; and is administered by persons holding their offices during pleasure, for a limited period, or during good behaviour.”

A familiar contrast is often made between a republican and a democratic form of government based on the latter’s being a direct wielding of power by the people with unrestricted majority rule, and the former’s being a government by representatives elected by the people with restrictions on the power of the majority. It should be noted that the requirement of restrictions on the power of the majority are not contained in Madison’s definition. The restrictions on the power of the majority are, instead, contained in the Bill of Rights. Thus, whichever definition one adopts, the United Stated has a republican form of government.

“{WE THE PEOPLE}” must put America First, to restore our Christian Constitutional Republic. This can only be done when the true churches and ministries of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ REPENT and turn from their wicked ways, so Almighty God(The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost), can hear from heaven; and “HEAL OUR LAND”: II CHRONICLES 7 : 14(KJV). Tragically this is not happening. Christian you must be in the perfect will of Almighty God(The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost), Which art in heaven; so He can “{SAVE}” America!
ENEMY IDENTIFICATION
Domestic enemies, traitors to the Constitution, and Bill Of Rights, are everywhere: they are in churches, communities, government, media, schools, and must be deported to Red China, Cuba, etc.

What are the Ten Commandments

If men cannot govern their behavior from within by Moral Virtue, then they must be governed from without by Force. I fear we do now indeed need a policeman on every corner in many American cities just to maintain law & order! Indeed, what price do we pay for the removal of this restraining inner Moral Virtue – and replacing it with only the external restrainer of the threat of Force? ”Jesus is Lord” was a corporate confession of the Christian community. One of the most striking but overlooked features of the New Testament is the frequency and simplicity with which Jesus is referred to as ”the Lord” or ”our Lord”, suggesting that he is the commonly acknowledged Lord of the entire Christian community. Two random examples will suffice to illustrate this phenomenon. Observe how Paul opens his letters to the Roman and Corinthian Christians. In Romans, his greeting includes an extended description of the gospel, which concerns ”Jesus Christ our Lord” (Rom. 1:3), and he wishes them grace and peace ”from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ” (Rom. 1:7).

Okay, you’ve heard the fairy tale of evolution. Now find out how the universe and everything herein was created. Notice how God created all in an orderly and systematic manner–this is no surprise given the orderly laws we observe in nature. Species behave and live in predictable ways, cycles go round and round (e.g., evaporation, orbits, night & day), human bodies function in orderly ways (menstruation, reproduction), the earth is self-sustaining with plants having their seed in themselves, etc.

The Bible tells us about the evaporation cycle, wind circuits, paths in the sea and other phenomena only relatively recently discovered by science. For the scoffer, open up your supposedly ”scientific mind” and let the truth come in. As a ”scientist” you should at least be willing to consider the claims of the Bible, a book that pre-dates you by thousands of years. A book that has impacted the face of the entire world. A book that multitudes have died for. A book that heals. A book that is tried and true. You CANNOT DENY that there is NO BOOK that comes close to impacting the lives of men like the Holy Bible has. Consider, ”Mr. Scientist”.

3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
