Both my Mother and Father worked in the Bath Shipyard in Maine. My father was a freelance finish carpenter and he worked hard til he was 65 when he retired. Even during retirement he worked as a chair builder to make an income and built grandfather clocks. He never accepeted any handout. Dad took care of his family and taught good morals and hard work. He and my Mom were honest and would not believe what’s going on today. This photo shows what simple people they were and i’ll see them soon. God bless America.
