Proposed Washington, D.C. Assembly

Purpose: To demonstrate how many American Patriots are willing to come to Washington, D.C. to warn the members of OUR GOVERNMENT that the NEXT time we come we will be exercising our 2nd Amendment Right to Keep and Bear Arms and fulfilling our RIGHT, our DUTY as defined in the Declaration of Independence that…

“…when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce…” US ”…under absolute despotism, it is…” OUR “…right, it is…” OUR “…duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for…”America’s “…future security.”

Concept: To have AS MANY AMERICAN PATRIOTS AS POSSIBLE show up on the D.C. Mall between the Capitol Building and the Whitehouse carrying BROOMS to show our desire to SWEEP OUT all of the UNCONSTITUTIONAL B.S. and SWEEP IN a restoration of the ORIGINAL PRINCIPLES codified in The United States Constitution. By bringing BROOMS instead of GUNS we will demonstrate our preference to execute these changes in a peaceful manner, but, we will demonstrate by our NUMBERS that we are SERIOUS and that this is Washington, D.C.’s FINAL WARNING!!!

BECAUSE, NEXT TIME WE WILL BRING OUR GUNS!!!

Execution: It will take EVERYONE reading this message to take the following actions for this demonstration to be effective:

Forward, Share, Tweet, etc. this message to EVERYONE you know.
If you are part of, or know someone who is part of ANY Conservative, Tea Party, Constitutionalist, etc. organization you need to LOBBY them to PARTICIPATE AND/OR SPONSOR this event.
We will need to lay on busses from all over the country operating on a schedule to arrive on July 3rd, 2012 (everyone needs to reserve hotel rooms or bring sleeping bags. (Idea: can we rent local auditoriums or other venues with large rooms and bathroom facilities to use as places to sleep?).
We need someone who is knowledgeable in how to go about it to acquire the appropriate permits.
We need to lay on Port-a-Potties.
We need to arrange for a MASSIVE sound sytem.
We need EVERYONE to try and BRING THEIR OWN brooms.
We need to purchase EXTRA BROOMS for those who cannot bring their own.
We need to arrange for post-demonstration clean-up.
We need EVERYONE to AGREE to bring NO FIREARMS. (Bringing firearms will only result in the media labeling us extremist kooks “…clinging to their guns and Bibles…”
We need EVERYONE to bring their BIBLE and copys of The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of the United States of America.
Summary: This is just a preliminary outline. I am sure that there are others out there that can refine this into a viable and effective demonstration.
