UCC Letters to the Editor Writing Workshop
One of the most important campaign activities that can be done in the weeks leading up to an election is the writing of opinion pieces and letters to the editor in local papers. Most people are hesitant to write these letters because they are either intimidated by the whole process or they feel they don’t have the skills to write a good letter.

The UCC is going to hold a 1 night workshop where we can all get together and help each other out writing some letters to support our endorsed candidates. I have submitted letters in the past and it is really a simple process, but first the letters have to be written. If you are interested, please join us Monday October 22nd at the Parting Glass Restaurant/Bar, 73 Henry Street, Saratoga Springs from 7 – 9 pm. We will make it a fun night and a great opportunity to help out our endorsed candidates. If you have a laptop computer please bring it with you, if not a pen and paper will suffice.
