To all my fellow tea party americans. With all, the debates I am sure most of us have a good idea where all the candidates stand and poles have reflected the short-term favor of them by us tea party republicans. That is because we are looking for the whole package, and some have come close but when flaws surface it only leaves us with more questions like; are they sincere or do they really understand freedom. I think there is one candidate that deserves a second look and that is Ron Paul. We have dismissed him early because of his up front stubborn stance on foreign policy, but let us face it. He hits the nail on the head when it comes to understanding freedom. So I am proposing with the strong arm of the tea party constituency to pressure him to at least agree on a strong missile defense and patrol the seas. I am sure he understands that freedom comes with the responsibility to defend it. While not asking him to drop his values, we need him to reach out to us Americans because it’s about we the people and I think this would get him a lot closer to getting nominated.

I understand your commitment to Ron Paul. I also understand that the Tea Party and Conservatives need to vett all the other candidates too. Our Power to change the mess we’re in comes from the amount of Progressives we remove from Congress and the State Legislatures this cycle. Doing that is equally as important as who Replaces Obama as President. we can’t survive another fiasco like the ones in 92’ and 96’ where a third Party handed the Presidency to the ultra liberal Clintons. It’s unfortunate that the Progressives have placed America between a rock and a hard place for this election cycle. If Ron Paul wins the Republican nod I’ll vote for him, if someone else gets I’ll vote for them. The Main thing I am going to be doing is getting as active Locally as I possibly can and will vett and work for all the Other Candidates I will be able to vote for to make sure they get on the ballot against the Incumbents and not who the Party decides should run. We all need to do this in our own Local Areas.
I dont consider the tea party any part of the Republican party. If that is all we are then we had better go home. Conservative and proud and unaffiliated
Troy, I’ll say this again, Teh Tea Party Is Not Part Of The Republican Party. The Tea Party is trying to clean up the Republican Party and return it to it’s traditional Conservative Roots.
I believe that both the Republicrats and the Democrats have had sufficient time to display a genuine concern and responsibility toward the constitution and as a party have failed to do so in the last 11 years. You can say that republicans are a good alternative to democrats being in charge of the house the senate and the white house and yes I would agree however lets not forget that these same republicans had many chances during the Bush administration to show their true colors. The only problem with their true colors is they looked an awful lot like the democrats. The tea party came along with a very distinct and separate agenda. We need less government regulation. Less government involvement and a return to the constitution as set forth by the founding fathers. If we let the Republican party control or dictate to us, the Tea Party, then we will lose everything. The Republican party must conform to the tea party and embrace wholly our philosophy of Americanism.
Whenever a third party runs, it throws the race to democrats…EVERYTIME. Do you really want another 4 yrs of Obama ??? Right now I have 2 candidates that I feel would do the best job .,. .but rest assured, I WILL VOTE FOR WHOEVER WINS THE PRIMARY, i’ve heard several people say they will not vote for anyone other that the one they support….that would be a very foolish choice and would assure Obama’s re-election
And why the Evangelicals make such a big deal of the candidates religeon…..Review our past 10 pres’s and you can see it has made no difference to them when in office.
