    ALERT! ALERT! WARNING! New Taxes and Increased Taxes are on the way for Cape Codders!

    *The Special Commission on County Governance is holding another meeting this evening: Wednesday, January 4, 2012, 6:30 PM – Barnstable County Superior Court Building, Room 11/12. Among the topics on the agenda are: Revenues: Discussion of unused revenue capacity of county and discussion of potential for new revenues.

    I hate to say this folks, but in all liklihood that means NEW and MORE TAXES are going to be levied upon the people of Cape Cod if the Special Commission succeeds in dramatically and unnecessarily expanding the size, scope and role of the Cape Cod, Barnstable County Regional Government!!! “They will be accepting public comment tonight as well…hint, hint…”
