Hello I’m a new member who is a lifelong New Jersey resident. I’ve been watching with growing concern the behavior of the Republicans in the Senate and wanted to find out from those of you in Kentucky about where things stand in finding a suitable candidate to primary Mitch McConnell when he is up for re-election in 2014. The only things I have been hearing in the mainstream media and the conservative blogs are the real possibility that actress Ashley Judd not only is likely to run but has a real shot at beating McConnell and putting that seat in Democratic hands. All the pundits want to talk about are how McConnell can best fend off this challenge when what should really be discussed is how best to defeat McConnell in the primary process. All he is doing is colluding with House Speaker Boehner to aid and abet the Obama agenda and his recent ”stand with Rand” is clearly an effort to pander and fool us into thinking he is serious about serving his constituents. I hope you feel the same way and have candidates in the works who can provide a true alternative for not just Kentucky but for all American taxpayers.
