Welcome to the NYS group page for Tea Party Patriots. I thank all of you who have joined for standing up to regain sanity and conservative values back into NYS. When you join the group, please introduce yourself. Please let us know where you are located within NYS. If you are here looking for a local group but do not want to chat on the open board, feel free to send me a note and I will help you get involved with a local group. This group does not support any political party, campaign nor does it endorse any candidates running for any office. This is an informational networking site for all NYS Tea Party Patriots to share and work with each other on legislation, issues and events. We consist of a collection of grassroots groups throughout New York State who are working together on local, state and national issues. We the Bergen County Tea Party, also known as the New Jersey Tea Party Coalition, an association of public citizens from the State of New Jersey, are dedicated to supporting the principles within our Nation’s foundational documents and public policy that adheres to those principles, including but not limited to the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that are expressed in the forms of personal responsibility, individual liberty, limited government and free markets. Insofar as all Americans must live within their financial means, so must our government and we further believe that those means must not exceed the bounds enumerated within our Constitution. Furthermore, through our outreach and rallies, it is our objective to empower our fellow citizens by showing them they are not alone in their frustrations about the bad policies coming from Washington and Trenton. Our goal is to unite Patriots throughout New Jersey in order to speak with a single and powerful voice that will enable us to preserve and restore our Constitutional government which was designed of and for the People. We the people of New Jersey and these United States call for Real, Honest and Ethical government in order to protect and preserve the liberties and prosperity of our children, our families, our community and our country. The purpose of this group is to raise the consciousness of the people of Dutchess County as to our Constitutional Crisis and offer a solution through education and activism. Thomas Jefferson said: How can a people who have struggled long years under oppression throw off their oppressors and establish a free society? The problems are immense, but their solution lies in the education and enlightenment of the people and the emergence of a spirit that will serve as a foundation for independence and self-government. Ron Paul said: “truth is treason in the empire of lies". Those of us who have awakened have discovered that Washington has [long time] been an empire of lies, an empire of propaganda since at least the 1930s. Our founding fathers were very much aware of the world wide conspiracy to enslave men, and have given us the tools to defeat them. They are the Constitution and their writings. So, if you believe that saving the Constitution is worth a few hours of your time a month, now is the time to stand up [while we still can] and be counted, too many people are assuming others will do it so they don’t have to, not so! The Brooklyn Tea Party was founded and organized by John Press, who served as the president and leader. John led the Brooklyn Tea Party from its inception until February 2011. The enthusiasm of the members, a full-spectrum of local residents, is what makes the Brooklyn Tea Party what it is. John helped to provide all of us members with the opportunity to participate fully and express ourselves.
