We would have first preferred for you to have corrected your assertions about what year the tea party actually started.

We are adding a disclaimer therefore. We are NOT affiliates of the “Tea Party Patriots” group that formed two years later in 2009. We are the ORIGINAL tea party that actually began on December 16 in 2007 in New England.

It is important to know this difference as it was a certain man who ’fathered’ the tea party.. Although we do not endorse as a group, most of our leaders still endorse that man.

We do not endorse or support Mitt Romney which also seems to be a theme on your website. We notice that most of these groups that sprung up in 2009 are actually GOP PACS, including TPP.

We are not affiliated with the GOP in any way, and do not collect money. None of the money solicited by TPP in NH through postal mail is ever donated to any tea party group that we know of, and all of them are part of our independent state coalition.
