In DC for the conference. WE arrived today and those who arrived yesterday or early today and attended the National Security briefing offered by some of the committee, informed us when we saw them that they were overwhelmed and stunned by the information that was presented. Turns out our Administration really doesn’t care that much about our fighting men/womens outcomes as long as it doesn’t affect their plans and reputations.
Plus a whole bunch more stuff. It is great to be able to see some of the TPP friends from across the country again.
I kinda wonder if the CIA regulars are going to take the same action with leaks as they did with the Watergate affair and the Bay of Pigs aftermath. I still wonder if as was hinted at right after the Cuban Missile crisis if Kennedy didn’t make the deal with Khrushchev to make it look like America won and then basically stop trying to block the Communist infiltration of America.
