Rule of Law
Aristotle wrote ”Law should govern”. Rule of law implies that every citizen is subject to the law. It stands in contrast to the idea that the ruler is above the law and the law is arbitrary. History has shown that those advocating Central Planning and the Marxist philosophy have not been able to adhere to this principle. Today we see this Marxist/Progressive administration having the same conundrum. They proclaim they are not a dictator, and yet they administer as though they were. They said they have the constitutional authority to terminate a citizen based on an arbitrary determination without due process of law. Senator Rand Paul forced them to clarify their position somewhat. In contrast they sneak the son-in-law of Osama bin Laden into New York so he is afforded all the constitutional protection they wish to deny a US citizen.
On Wednesday of this same week, Atty. Gen Holder said some banks had become too big to prosecute. He explained the determining factor for prosecution was not the crime, but if the indication was the prosecution would endanger the economy. He does not give any definition for indication. We are being fundamentally transformed from a nation adhering to the rule of law to one adhering to arbitrary law as defined by this Marxist/Progressive administration.
