The 9/12 Project of Greenville is part of the 9/12 Project of South Carolina, Inc. and is part of a state level, non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving and promoting the inalienable rights of individuals granted by our Creator and guaranteed by the United States Constitution. We believe in limited government, private property rights, individual liberties, free markets, states' rights, and constitutional governance, with special emphasis on the first, second, and tenth amendments.

The Upstate TEA Party is a grassroots conservative, non-partisan group which is opposed to wasteful and/or unconstitutional government spending and promotes limited government, free markets, and individual freedom and liberty. Every person who wishes to become more informed in the politics that affects each of us who live and/or work in Greenville County is welcome at the Upstate TEA Party. Up until the past couple of years the vast majority of us were either paying no attention to politics and/or we believed many of the lies. When a person begins to see the truth is when it becomes that person’s responsibility to look directly at the truth, learn what the truth is, and help others to see the truth. Anyone who is doing whatever they feel that they can to learn and to help others see the truth is to be commended and supported regardless of when they first saw the truth or what they believed before. Everyone who is looking for the truth is welcome in the Upstate TEA Party. Whether they wish to only listen and learn or to take an active roll. Each of us has different talents and resources. Each of us must decide for ourselves what we will do in our personal journey for the truth. Race, religion, creed, color, gender, etc. will play no roll in this group. The Constitution of the United States, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Bible are the instruments which show us the basis of the truth that will be presented at these meetings. We will do everything possible in our power to insure that these meetings will not be a waste of your time. We will present speakers who are either our elected officials or individuals who will teach us about a particular issue. All suggestions are welcome. The Upstate TEA Party’s leadership consists of a group of advisors who research issues and follow politics at all levels. All issues and political matters that we feel are important to the citizens will be presented as time allows. If you feel an issue needs to be addressed, please let me know.
