My fellow South Carolinians,
I joined this group just a couple of days ago and I would like to introduce myself. I am Paul Sauls. My wife and I live in Taylors, Greenville County, SC. Unfortunately due to a lack of confidence in the voting system, we sat on the sidelines of political activism for many years. However, we have now reached the inescapable conclusion that we simply have no other choice but to step up to the plate and take personal action. I am now before you as a fellow patriot activist.

Taking action is precisely what I am doing with this post. I know that both as a state and a nation, we face many difficult issues, all of them fairly deserving of our best attention and efforts. But today I would like to draw your attention to one issue that I’m quite certain the overwhelming majority of you have never heard about before today.

Since the events of 9/11, I have been educating myself about the various problems we face and the landmark events which have forever altered the social, political, and economic landscape in America. For years I have investigated the ”inside job” claims about 9/11, the Socialist takeover of our education system, the lunacy of our Federal Reserve fiat banking system, the New Age infiltration of our churches, and several other similar issues. After years of personal research into these vastly important matters, I must admit that I have largely come away feeling very overwhelmed emotionally and with very little to show for my efforts in the way of identifying any method of effecting positive change in the definitive favor of our Constitution and the American people. It has been a most tiring, humbling course of study.

However, there was one issue I had originally researched about six years ago that, thanks to a friend’s recent prompting, I decided to revisit and take a fresh look. Initially, this problem just seemed like yet another unsolvable, egregious tragedy in a long line of the same. However, as I freshly revisited this issue, I began to see things from a more mature perspective. I now see this one particular issue as THE KEY I think we’ve all been looking for to turn the momentum back in favor of WE THE PEOPLE.

Let me outline this issue in (hopefully) succinct terms for you here and then I would like for each one of you to follow up by contacting me with a friend request and a PM to indicate would like further information. To say this issue is HUGE is the monumental understatement of the Millennium, but you can decide that for yourselves.

Let me ask you this question:
Have you EVER ONCE heard the term ”Comprehensive Annual Financial Report” from any public official?
My guess is NO, you have not and I will not be surprised if you haven’t.

Ok, my second question:
Have you EVER heard a public official from a city, county, school district, state, or federal govt entity make the following worn out declaration to the public?
”We have a BUDGET DEFICIT and we need to RAISE TAXES!”
My guess is….YES, you have heard that old song and dance regularly and frequently over your entire adult life.

Ok, here’s the SCAM you and I have been sold year after year about the so-called ”BUDGET DEFICIT” and why you probably do not have a CLUE what a (CAFR) Comprehensive Annual Financial Report is. Several decades ago, the federal govt began streamlining their govt-wide accounting processes. They eventually honed it into the CAFR system that ALL govt entities are required to compile and file annually. The CAFR is exactly what it says…a COMPREHENSIVE annual financial report which includes ALL of the income sources, assets, investment holdings, and expenses of the reporting entity. It is equivalent to a Total Net Worth statement for the govt.

By comparison, when you hear the public officials cry ”BUDGET DEFICIT” you will NEVER hear one word of referral to any CAFR. Instead, you will without fail be directed by the news media and your most honorable public officials to the focus on the BUDGET BASIS report. Budget reports contain very limited, highly selective line item data and only deal with specific income (tax revenues) sources and expenditures of the reporting entity. The BUDGET BASIS reports are cited EXCLUSIVELY by public officials whenever they want to discuss anything regarding tax revenues, especially when trying to coerce you and I into paying higher or new taxes.

Hmmmm…. NOW do you understand why you NEVER hear one peep about the CAFR report mentioned on any mass media new outlet or from the mouth of any public official? In short, here’s the way the scam is played out… The govt cries ”BUDGET DEFICIT!” to the public citing the limited BUDGET BASIS report as their ”proof” of a shortfall. The public, far too entertained, too distracted, too overwhelmed, too uninformed, too apathetic and WAY TOO TRUSTING is never shown the CAFR and simply caves into the fear of losing teachers, firemen, policemen, sanitation workers. The public right on cue just pony’s up more fat HENS to feed the hungry FOXES. Crisis now averted, everyone goes back to life as usual…until the bean counters strike again next time.

In the meantime, our ever-honorable public ”servants” have been busy playing this scam all across the nation for SIX PLUS DECADES and have been dutifully socking our excess HENS away in lucrative little investment funds, quietly taking govt ownership of it ALL. Quite literally, the next time you hear one of these LIARS frantically tell you the sky is falling and there’s a $20 MILLION ”shortfall”, you can be absolutely 1000% CERTAIN there are BILLIONS of extra ”hens” hidden somewhere in a surplus SLUSH FUND NEAR YOU that can more than make up the ”deficit”. Folks, it’s all smoke and mirrors and we fall for it EVERY single time.

Ok, now for the GOOD NEWS. I’m not just here to tell you about yet another major problem we’re facing. I’m here to tell you that, unlike all the other problems, THIS one has a truly viable SOLUTION that we can all be part of! And….WHEN, not ”if”, we make major headway on this issue, we will begin to see a positive domino effect on all the OTHER problems we can’t seem to overcome.

Now, I would really like to hear from my fellow South Carolinians on this, especially those in Greenville County. I can fully document and support these claims and give you more than enough research and video information on this issue to bring you up to speed. My hope is that once you SEE this for yourself and begin to understand the magnitude and gravity of this issue, you will at once realize the enormous potential we have for taking this nation BACK. You will see how this issue TRUMPS ALL OTHERS simply due to the MASSIVE MONEY INVOLVED.
