I’ll take that as a no. I have been encouraging Chris Street, who is the Treasuer of Orange County and writes at Big Government. I think Senator Feinstein is vulnerable, for two reasons related to her campaign and in general. There has been a split between Feinstein and the Administration over Kamala Harris. The Feinstein campaign had a huge amount of money embezzled by a Democratic fund-raiser/political operative. California will unfortunately probably vote for Obama, but I think deep down even the moderate Democrats know what a disaster he really is, and will want to split their vote. Feinstein supports the high speed rail project and that is a huge anchor to hang around her neck. She claims to be a moderate Democrat and yet she votes party line much much more than most people think. She’s vulnerable and Chris can beat her. He has a deep understanding of the fiscal issues plaguing us and has personal experience turning around a failing government.
