I have Romney stickers on four bumpers plus some custom ones I made; I just ordered three Romney/Ryan yard signs and two more stickers; I have donated cash to Romney/Ryan, Allen West, Michele Bachman and Scott Walker (recall); I just sent my stepson at college the form to request an absentee ballot from my county; my son and most of his friends are voting for Romney; my 89 year old mother made it, with her walker, to vote in the Missouri primary and looks forward to voting for Romney in November; I bring up ”politics” with people in various social situations, finding ways to tactfully work in comments about Romney or Obama, using humor, quick points, one-line remarks, etc. – it works. This all helps build the ”energy”, the emotion, the feeling that Obama must go and Romney must win. When you realize how absolutely ignorant most middle-class Americans are about politics, how little they know about Obama, let alone the philosophies of capitalism vs. socialism, Constitutionally limited government vs. big, nanny-state government, you should also realize you have GREAT opportunity to educate people who have so little information to back up their choices. But you can’t preach to them or argue with them, you must get your message across in small, clever ways, seed their thoughts and let them think, without being on the defensive, on their own. Make them curious, throw out a fact supporting conservate values, then change the subject. This is how to be successful, as private citizens, in day-to-day life. Very powerful, very little or no cost. Now is not the time to be politically correct, avoid talking ”politics”, being ”private” and quiet – NOW is the time to be active, vocal, constant, consistent and determined. This is our last chance. If we can’t get our message out to save our nation’s future, our children’s future now, given the ominous fate looming before us, we will not have another opportunity. It is ”Now or Never”.
