If we don’t get high enough numbers protesting over this constantly, we will definitely lose our rights so get busy and actually do something.

The removal of the Assault Weapons Ban could make the other provisions in the Senate gun control package, like universal background checks, appear more reasonable. Whether or not such background checks could lead to a national gun registry, and thus become a federal resource for gun confiscation, is a major question that must be resolved.

Another Alert; Joe Biden said today that the white house does not consider the Assault weapons Ban closed and will push for it. We must once again hit all the sources on Congress especially Speaker Boehner to not allow any gun control legislation to come to the floor for a vote unless they put in something to completely stop any Amendments from being added to the final bill sent to the President.

We need to keep pushing our Representatives and keep informing them that any legislation to further restrict or regulate guns will have the effect of jeopardizing the Voting Public and the voters have long memories about things like that. Suggest if they want to actually do something that will help save lives and not just create useless feel good legislation, or more to the point not create polarized political agenda driven Legislation, to take a long hard look at the FBI statistics about the incidence of killing sprees mainly in gun free zones as opposed to other areas where civilian guns are allowed. It’s tome to remove the ”gun free zones” because those zones are magnets for multiple killings and no amount of spin and misdirection can change that verified fact!!!
