Interesting Idea I came across today; Like the Corwin amendment; ”No amendment shall be made to the Constitution which will authorize or give to Congress the power to abolish or interfere, within any State, with the domestic institutions thereof, including that of persons held to labor or service by the laws of said State.”
We should get our Representatives to propose one that says; ”No amendment shall be made to the Constitution which will authorize or give to Congress the power to abolish or interfere, within any State, with the Constitutional Protections of the Seciond Amendment Rights thereof, including the original intent by the framers of the Constitution that it was necessary to codify the American citizens Right to have the means to defend themselves militarily from a Government that became inimical to the Constitutional rights as stated in the main body of the Constitution, or that has overextended it’s Strictly limited enumerated powers also stated in the Constitution, to gain more power over it’s citizens. therefore the Federal Government shall not have the legal force to overrule any laws enacted in the various states as long as those laws do not run afoul of the Constitutional strictures in the main body of the Constitution, and those State laws only encompass the internal workings of the States themselves, and enacted by the legislature of said State/s, and any existing amendment that is now a part of the valid Amendments which Infringes on those laws will not have the power of enforcement over the Individual State Laws they are in conflict with. Doing that would place the Federal Government back into it’s enumerated Powers and being an Amendment would be Constitutional and therefore irrefutable by the supreme Court..
