I heard something on patriot radio today that made a lot of sense. The speaker was comparing the Democrats message to the republican’s message and came to the conclusion that the Progressive Democrats are winning, not because they have more charismatic speakers, or because they have the backing of the Main Media. Seems they are winning because they have won the message to the people. It’s not about some trick to gain the whole Latino vote, it’s not about winning the Minority votes. It’s about campaigning For Someone, and not Against Something Cold and Abstract. The Republican Party and the rest of us, need to start saying that we are going to do our best to see to it that those who are really in need will be taken care of, and that we will look out for the peoples best interests and fight for them to the best of our ability even if they don’t vote for us. We need to convince them that we want to maintain the safety nets for those truly in need, like the handicapped who can’t do for themselves, The homeless that need temporary shelter and help to get back on their feet. The elderly who must rely on their Social Security to live. We must make sure we are promoting the correct message so the people don’t see us as the cold hearted people Progressives have been calling us, and playing right into their hands by talking about systems and finances instead of properly helping people to become self reliant. If we can show them that smaller Government will insure the help where it is needed, and also help to put people back on their feet financially, then we have the hearts and minds of the public.

please dont get caught in that. They win because of white guilt black racism and anger at bush. that was their message in 2008. now their message is blame and blatant lies to an ignorant public and yes we are all sick of it.learning to be them buying votes wont work to reduce the deficit since they dont care about the deficit as long as they get their Obamaphone subsidy or government contract no matter the cost. They will outspend us with our own tax money adding to the debt. We do need to do better at selling the truth and allowing them to be ignorant as long as they are listening. We do get a bit insulting including me.
If we are not going to have a third party, maybe a REAL go-getter like John McCain will once again LEAD THE CHARGE, to represent us all. That ”THIRD PARTY THING” looks a hell-uva-lot better than just one minute ago doesen’t it Mc?
Actually I am against a Third Party unless it’s taking over the Republican Party by true Conservatives and giving the ’old guard’ the boot out of positions of power. At this point we can’t win with a start up third party and to lose in 2014 and 2016 would finally destroy us. think of this; If the million or so Libertarian votes were to have been cast for Romney as a direct vote against Obama and not for some philosophical ideal or ”Statement to Congress”, Obama would have been the loser. We still can win big enough to hold the line and extend it if we all decide to do what we did in 2010 and ” VOTE AGAINST OBAMA’S AGENDA” Then from a position of power start a Third Party if necessary.
