The TPP is squarely in the sights of the Knee Pad Press and the Karl Rove faction of the Republican Party. For the four year anniversary they have kicked off a 10 day money bomb to get donations totaling 1 Million Dollars, we are not even half way to that goal, and if we don’t make it we will have our credibility seriously diminished. rcwx, the TPP is engaged in the debt crisis as the members local leaders and state coordinators have voted on doing. While we support the efforts of the other groups like the NRA,GOA in the fight for the 2nd Amendment, if we tried to tackle all the issues we would collapse just like the Progressives want us to do. There will be a PAC launched separate from the main TPP soon to do the lobbying and the current members are free to join it and become activist members there too and be able to actively support specific candidates. There is a lot of things going on behind the scenes in Washington right now by the TPP talking to key Congressmen and Senators and trying to get the House Speaker to stick to his promises. I wouldn’t put too much credence in the conspiracy theories put out regularly, and mostly as a dis-information campaign by the opposition.
The day of resistance is being promoted by the Tea Party.net and our members are free to join or not as they see fit. The Tea party Patriots is a bottom up grass roots activist organization where the members decide what issues they want to take on.
